Modern Water, working in Greece with a team of End Customers - Olympios and Eyath SA and Contractor. - Installation of three CTM analysers to alert site to the potential for acute toxicity in a large city drinking water network
- Mounted post-filter in a drinking water works, as well as downstream at potable water distribution booster stations
- Analysers were installed, commissioned and have now been running for over a month.

Dan Burns and Jon Shepherd supported the team with the principles of operation and demonstrating commissioning and maintenance. However, the team was quickly able to take over and commissioned analysers two and three with minimal support. Fantastic work by the team and really refreshing to work with such an engaged and committed group of customers.

Our Distributor in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Matěj Kříž of Ekotechnika joined Trace Metals expert Paul Lewtas and BDM Jon Shepherd in March to learn more about Modern Water’s range of products with the PDV for portable measurement and the OVA for online analysis. We enjoyed a really good interactive session discussing applications, challenging measurements, and opportunities for business with all of us learning more about the potential for metals measurements in Central Europe.
We are always happy to share knowledge with our partners, via marketing materials, product data and quotes, in the field, as well as using tools such as Zoom for deep-dive discussion. Modern Water welcomes Nordtest as our Distributor in Italy
Jon Shepherd and Paul Ryan visited Maurizio Bruni, Enrico Di Stefano, Alessandro Crivelli and Ettore Bruni to discuss the Microtox and Modern Water product ranges, customers and applications. With a strong customer base across Italy in Industry and Municipal applications from online measurement to high end lab instruments, there is a wealth of knowledge and customer support at Nordtest. This was immediately realised with the order of the first Microtox LX instrument under the new partnership. Congratulations to Nordtest and we look forward to supporting business.

Modern Water's Jon Shepherd and Ambifirst's Luis Castro and Patricia Alexandre, our Portugal distributor, visiting customers in Lisbon and the Algarve to discuss water analysis and developments in analytical measurement techniques. Focusing on toxicity, trace metals and the invention of the world's first analyser for online detection of pathogens, bacteria and viruses we have been helping customers develop their ability to solve their water challenges. | |

With presentations to the Living with Water conference hosted by the LNEC as well as hands on training and application discussions with key environment agencies and health organisations, it’s been a busy and varied week of very interesting discussions. | |

World Water Day is observed on March 22 every year to raise awareness about the importance of freshwater and advocate for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. The theme for World Water Day 2023 is "Accelerating Change to Solve the Water and Sanitation Crisis". The global campaign, called "Be the Change", encourages people to take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume, and manage water.
